We work with our clients to provide full room designs complete with furnishings, lighting window treatments, floor coverings,  wall coverings, paint selection, art and accessories.

OUR PROCESS

Please submit your project inquiry form on our website. Once received, we will reach out to schedule a 20-minute complementary introductory call, where we discuss your needs, and explain how we may be able to assist.  If you would like to move forward with us, we can then set up a time for a paid 1-1/2 hour design consultation that takes place at the proposed project location to meet and further discuss your project.  

  • If we determine that we are a good fit for your project, we will set up an in-person, paid design consultation. Our initial meeting is really about initiating a relationship, as we are to embark on a creative and collaborative journey together! During this meeting, we delve deeper into scope and get to know your needs for the project and dreams for the spaces. We will discuss not only aesthetics, but also functional requirements. Based on that consultation, we will create a proposal for the project, including an approximate budget for the project and a flat-fee (based on scope) for the design services. If you would like to move forward with us, you will receive a client agreement with a comprehensive scope of work and a request for retainer, once signed and returned you will have officially confirmed your spot on our design calendar.

  • This is when we begin to work closely with you to gather and organize inspiration, measure and make note of site conditions, discuss schematic space planning, and refine the initial design concepts for each space. We will take the time to really understand your design style, lifestyle, and goals for your home.

  • This is when we turn our schematic ideas into functional design plans. We work on the design and selection of all relevant materials. For construction projects this includes elements such as flooring, wall coverings, counters, hardware, lighting, plumbing, and other finishes. For furnishing projects this includes upholstery, rugs, casegoods, window treatments, lighting, wallpaper, accessories, and art. This phase concludes with a comprehensive design presentation, which includes drawings (floor plans, elevations, custom designed millwork and furnishings), and material/textile samples. (3-D drawings and photorealistic renderings can be requested and supplied, at additional cost to the client, by third party consultants).

  • Based upon the decisions made during our presentation, we solidify the project design, drawing package, architectural specifications, and provide you with a detailed furnishing proposal in an itemized format. Once the finalized project proposals and requested deposits are received, approved items will be procured. We will send purchase orders to our vendors and closely track delivery details. We inspect each product as it arrives to our Receiving Warehouse, and handle any claims necessary to fix damages. We keep you updated on any delays, completed shipments, and other issues. During this stage we also work directly with our vetted trade partners to set up necessary appointments like painting, wallpaper installation, window treatment installation, and lighting installation.

  • After documentation is completed, all project-selected items are ordered, and any required permits are obtained, we will provide project management and design oversight to the construction. We work closely with the contractor and any other consultants that you may require for your project and will be coordinating with the manufacturers, vendors, and installers to make sure everything goes as planned. If we have an unforeseen issue arise, we will be sure to come up with a resolution as soon as possible.

  • Throughout construction, we attend job site meetings to review design decisions, placement, and material installations. We work as a team with the builder/contractors to resolve any issues that arise during construction and ensure the design is executed as planned.

  • And now for our favorite part of the process— We coordinate the installation of all of your new furnishing items with our movers and delivery team and set up your new space(s)! We place your furniture, rugs, install lighting, style shelving, hang your artwork and add the finishing touches to make your new space picture-perfect.

  • Our commitment doesn’t end with installation. We offer post-installation support to address any queries or adjustments, ensuring your satisfaction with the final result. Your happiness is our priority, and we are dedicated to maintaining the longevity and functionality of your newly designed space.
